Organic Farming- Rhode island red ,Turkey

Oman Banana

I bought Rhode island red, turkey day hold chicks from government hatchery, Mannuthy, In thrissur district, Kerala. That was in Feb 26 ,2010.I gave them warm by lighting 100W bulb in my farm(Brooder House).

I gave them first vaccine lezzotta, that is fr getting immune from ranicut disease, is commonly found in chicks.I fed them starter .starter is the feed that will give all minerals and vitamins to small chicks. Also i gave them Azolla, is an algea that provides Nitrogen , essential for producing proteins.
After 15 days i removed bulb from brooder house.Because they got little feather on them. I taken second vaccine on third month. when they are grown up to fourth month.I got a problem of storing chicken manure because i had n use of it upto that time.My brother said me to start Organic farming using chicken manure.
He informed me abut the merits of chicken manure.I found time to cultivate vegetables and Musa(Banana tree).
Rhode island red hen
Rhode island red roster with three hens

Rhode island red cock and hen

Rhode island red Egg
It gave me pleasure and way to get use  of chicken manure.I fed vegetable wastes to my chicks.Today they started to give me Eggs.My farm is rich of  Rhode island red Eggs and Turkey Eggs. Egg is very rich of proteins, My hens giving me brown eggs.
